Tale of Two Dreams: A Symphonic Celebration of Friendship invites you on a sweeping musical odyssey of friendship, identity, and the courage to be different. Amid lush rainforests and shimmering seas, a corn-loving Malayan tiger named Tigris and a lion named Merlin, who dreams of becoming a mermaid, cross paths on a mythical tropical island. As their melodies entwine, they build a bond through laughter, longing, and shared solitude — until the harmony is shattered by betrayal and fear. Rejected by those they thought were allies, the duo must find strength in their symphony of two.
Through stirring marches, folk melodies, tropical dances, and cinematic grandeur, this wind orchestra concert brings to life a heartfelt tale that crescendos from isolation to unity, from silence to song. In a world that tried to tame their truths, Tigris and Merlin find music — and in music, they find each other.
The Singapore Wind Symphony (SWS), established in 1977 under the National Theatre Trust as the National Theatre Symphonic Band, has grown into one of Singapore’s premier wind ensembles. Rebranded in 1992, SWS has earned acclaim through notable achievements such as winning top prizes at the World Music Contest and performing at international festivals and prestigious venues including the Sydney Opera House.
The ensemble is known for its collaborations with distinguished composers, conductors, and soloists worldwide, and has commissioned over 100 new works by Singaporean composers. Beyond performances, SWS actively promotes music education and community engagement through outreach programs and workshops, reflecting its mission to advance the art of symphonic wind music.

Who are the performing groups?
This is a special collaboration features a rich and diverse repertoire performed by the Tutti Wind Orchestra and Singapore Wind Symphony, bringing together passionate musicians from both Malaysia and Singapore for an unforgettable musical experience.
How long is the concert?
The performance will last approximately 2 hours, including a 20 minutes intermission.
What is the date, time, and venue of the concert?
The concert will take place on 21 June 2025, Saturday, at 7.30pm to 9.30pm, held at SJK (C) Chung Kwo Hall, KL ( Google Maps Link here )
What is the theme and/or program of this concert?
The full repertoire will remain enclosed until the concert for a delightful suprise. However, sneak peeks will be shared on our Instagram and Facebook, so be sure to follow us for updates.
Where can I buy tickets and how do I redeem them?
Tickets can be purchased on our website @ tuttiwindorchestra.com . Early booking is recommended to secure your seats.
On the day of the concert, redeem your tickets at the ticket booth by showing your email confirmation. You will be given a wristband to wear for entry.
Is the venue accessible for individuals with disabilities?
Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible.
Are tickets refundable or exchangeable?
No. All tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable, unless the event is officially cancelled.
Can children attend the concert?
Yes! Children aged 4 and above are welcome. Kindly ensure they can remain seated and quiet throughout the performance.
Our concert is kid-friendly as long a children can sit through the 2 hour program. We encourage musical exposure from a young age. Tickets are required if children need ther own seat.
Is there assigned seating?
No, this is a free seating concert within ticketed catogories. Please arrive early to secure your desired seats within your selected category.
Kindly note that this is an all flat-seated show.
Is there any dress code?
Smart casual attire is recommended. Kindly note that slippers are strictly not allowed.
